A Trelawny farmer died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred along a section of the Lime Tree main road, in Trelawny on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old, Merick Mullings, farmer of Woodgrove district also in Trelawny.
Reports by the police are that about 1:00pm, on Sunday, Mullings was riding a black motorcycle with another farmer as his pillion along the Lime Tree main road, from Low River towards their home in Woodgrove district.
On reaching the vicinity of Warren Road he lost control of the motorcycle which fell to the ground and skidded into a pile of sticks.
Both men received injuries and were rushed to the Percy Junior Hospital in Spaulding, Clarendon, where Mullings was pronounced dead and the other man admitted in serious condition.
