Three Students Injured at Expo in Kingston

Jamaica News, Kingston: Our news team has been informed that the three students, who were injured during a freak accident which occurred while on stage at an Expo being held in Kingston on Saturday, June 16, are no longer considered to be serious.

The three students who are said to be from Ardenne High School was attending the 10th Jamaica Drivers and Traffic Safety Expo which was being held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center in Kingston.

Reports are that, the students were among other members of a music band on stage at the Expo, when the harness that supports a massive screen gave way and the scene fell on the stage causing injuries to the students.

They were all rushed to the University of the West Indies Hospital where they were treated and admitted.
