A police operation in the St Toolies area near the Manchester and Clarendon boundary ended with three men being shot and killed on Monday afternoon.
According to preliminary information, law enforcement personnel were conducting an intelligence-driven exercise targeting wanted individuals when they proceeded to a residence in the community. During the operation, a confrontation reportedly developed.
Police confirmed that three males were fatally shot in the incident. Officers also recovered two firearms from the scene.
The shooting was reported to have occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
