Trelawny, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- Third Annual Heroes In Action Run/ Walk: The JN Foundation partnered with the Usain Bolt Foundation to host the third staging of the “Heroes in Action Run/ Walk” on Sunday at the Falmouth Cruise Port in Trelawny. The Run is a symbol of the Jamaica National Group’s continuous commitment to rural development in hopes to primarily focus on the Infirmary.

The Run was endorsed by the Hon. Olivia Babsy Grange, MP, CD Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports and Dr. Hon. Christopher Tufton, MP, Minister of Health and took place in historic Falmouth, the capital of Trelawny, the birthplace of Usain Bolt.

The event featured experienced and non- experienced runners who participated in and enjoyed either a 4k, 5k or 10k walk or run or a 4k fun run which was tailored towards a vibe for the family.

The post-run celebration  featured an awards ceremony where Usain Bolt presented recipients of awards with their prizes.

The entertainment was provided for everyone, Christians and non- Christians alike, with performances by Ding Dong and Kevin Downswell.

Fair enough to say the participants had fun and got to spend time with the legend Usain Bolt.
