Teenager Gunned Down in Braeton: A 17-year-old student was shot and killed by armed men at his home on Wallen Avenue in Old Braeton, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Monday.
He has been identified as Kirani Gallimore of Old Braeton in Portmore.
Reports indicate that Gallimore and another man attended a party in the area on Sunday night into Monday morning.
They returned home around 5:00 a.m. on Monday and were sitting in the yard when they were ambushed by armed men who opened fire, hitting Gallimore.
The other man escaped unhurt and raised the alarm, after which the police were summoned.
Upon the arrival of the lawmen, Gallimore was discovered lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
