Teenager among Two Persons Shot by Gunmen in Hanover   

Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: The Lucea police in the parish of Hanover have confirmed that a teenage boy and another man, were shot and seriously injured by gunmen at a section of Johnson Town community in Lucea on Friday evening, June 15.

The police further stated that they are now preparing to release the names of the victims at this time.

Reports are that shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, the teenager and the other male were standing outside a car parts and scrap yard located along the Johnson Town main road, when they were ambushed by men armed with handguns.

The men opened fire hitting both victims to their upper bodies before escaping in the area.  The police were summoned and upon arrival, the wounded victims were rushed to the Noel Holmes Hospital where they were admitted in critical condition.

It is also reported that the teenager was then transferred to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
