HANOVER, Jamaica — A teenage boy is among two males who lost their lives in a bizarre head-on collision involving two motorcycles on a Hanover roadway Thursday evening.
The deceased have been identified as 15-year-old Shadore Patterson and 38-year-old Zesha Mondell, both of Orange Bay, Hanover.
Reports from the Hanover police indicate that around 6:30 pm, both Patterson and Mondell were riding their motorcycles along Wharf Road in Orange Bay when the tragic incident occurred.
Police say Mondell, who was travelling from Longwood towards Orange Bay, reportedly overtook a motorcar and collided head-on with Patterson.
Both men were thrown from their motorcycles and sustained severe injuries. They were transported to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The Hanover police are investigating the incident.
