Nineteen-year-old Demari Rhoome, a labourer of Paul Mount, Above Rocks,
St. Catherine was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Assault at Common Law following an incident in his community on Sunday, March 03.
Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 10:30 a.m., a man was on his property, when he saw Rhoome sitting on his step. It is alleged that Rhoome left and retuned with a firearm, pointed it at the complainant and threatened to kill him. A report was made to the police and an investigation commenced.
Rhoome was later arrested and subsequently charged; a court date for him is being finalised.
