Taxi Operator Killed by Men Posing as Passengers in Kingston

Taxi Operator Killed : The Kingston police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a taxi operator by men posing as passengers on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Kemar Minott.

Reports indicate that around 3:00 PM, Minott was transporting passengers around Kingston when two male passengers requested a stop. When Minott stopped at the intersection of Mountain View Avenue and Windward Road, the men brandished handguns and opened fire, hitting him multiple times.

The assailants escaped, and the police were summoned. Upon arrival, the scene was processed.
