Super Lotto Jackpot Hit Again: Lucky Jamaican Wins $236.5 Million

In a remarkable stroke of luck, a Jamaican player has won the massive $236.5 million Super Lotto jackpot, marking the second time this month that the grand prize has been claimed. The winning ticket, purchased for $300 at Khadulah Wholesale in Clarendon, matched the numbers 09, 10, 22, 29, 34, and Super Ball 2.

This recent win comes just weeks after a $294 million Super Lotto jackpot was won by a fortunate player in St Maarten, continuing a streak of impressive payouts. Supreme Ventures, the company behind the lottery, revealed that in 2024 alone, the Super Lotto jackpot has been hit three times. Two of these wins have been claimed by Jamaican players, including a J$163 million jackpot taken home earlier this year by a local businessman.

Supreme Ventures has outlined the process for the latest winner to claim their prize. The company stated in a press release, “To begin the process of collecting their jackpot, the winner must present the winning ticket with their signature affixed and valid national ID at the Supreme Ventures Flagship Store located on the Twin Gates Plaza at 25 Constant Spring Road in St Andrew within 90 days from the draw date.”

The Super Lotto is a multi-jurisdictional game played across six Caribbean countries: Jamaica, Barbados, St Kitts & Nevis, Anguilla, Antigua, and St Maarten. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 8:30 p.m., offering players across the region the chance to win life-changing sums.
