ST. THOMAS MAN CHARGED WITH STABBING DEATH OF KINGSTON WOMAN

The Denham Town police in Kingston say they have now laid criminal charges against a St Thomas man, for the stabbing death of a woman along a section of Orange Street, in downtown Kingston, on Friday, March 15.

He has been identified as 30-year-old, Grey Roy, laborer Ball Ground district in 11 Miles, St Thomas, and he has been charged with the murder of 32-year-old, Shawna Eddie of Norman Lane, in Kingston 11.

Reports by the Denham Town police are that about 9:20 a.m., on Friday, the female and Roy got involved in a dispute at a section of Orange Street, in Kingston.

During the dispute, Roy reportedly used a knife to inflict several stab wounds to the female’s upper body.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded woman was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Following an investigation by the police, the Roy was taken into custody and on Saturday, he was subsequently charged with the murder.
