St Thomas, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – St Thomas Double Murder: A man and a woman were shot and killed at the Petcom Service Station on Saturday night, September 9, 2017.

Deceased are 57-year-old Christopher Higgins, unemployed of 1 North Street, Morant Bay and 21-year-old Katherina Brown, Cashier of Lyssonns Road, Morant Bay.

Police Reports are that about 11:15 pm on Saturday, three men traveling in a Suzuki Swift motor car, drove up to the Petcom Service Station, alighted from the vehicle and fired shots killing Higgins on the spot. The men then went inside the building and opened fire on Brown, hitting her all over her body. The gunmen then escaped in the same car.

The victims were transported to the hospital where they were both pronounced dead.

The vehicle was later spotted in the Bull Bay area by the Police who chased them onto Mountain View Avenue in Kingston, where the men jumped out of the car and ran.

The Police are presently carrying out investigations.
