Detectives attached to the Barrett Town police in the parish of St James, are investigating a case of suspected suicide at Sea Castle in Rose Hall, on Sunday morning.
Dead is 47-year-old Christopher Edwards, a businessman also of Sea Castle.
Reports by the police are that about 7:00am, a resident living in the community went to Edwards home and stumbled upon his partially decomposed body, and alerted the police.
On their arrival, the body was seen hanging by a piece of rope, which was tied from the top of a wall and the other end forming a noose around his neck.
The scene was processed, and Edward’s body taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
