St. James, Jamaica (McN) – St. James police report that on Sunday a man who was recently released from police custody was shot and killed by unknown assailants in the neighbouring parish of Hanover
Reports are that the man, of a St. James address, who is on bail, was shot in the community of Hag Bush, Haughton Court about 3:00 am on Sunday morning.
The man, who the police say was connected to crime was recently released from police custody on bail, after another man took responsibility for a gun police found in a car in which the injured man was travelling in last year.
Police who are investigating the shooting, have not yet connected a motive.
