ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Lawmen in St Elizabeth have released the names of 23 individuals they say are either wanted or can assist with active criminal investigations across the parish.
The list, made public on Monday, includes 13 men classified as wanted and 10 others identified as persons of interest. All individuals are being urged to report immediately to the Black River Criminal Investigation Branch.
Police disclosed that three of the wanted men — Anward Hinds, Javaughn Simms and Oral Cole — are being sought after reportedly escaping custody.
Two others, Derrick Robinson and Jackson Gayle, are wanted in relation to murder investigations currently underway in the parish.
Authorities also named four men in connection with rape cases: Lincoln Farquharson, Paul Smith, Merrick Parchment and Rushane Abrahams.
The remaining individuals are being pursued for offences including buggery, arson, and sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old. They are Aldain Bailey, Matthew Campbell and David Pottinger.
The St Elizabeth Police are urging anyone with information that could assist their investigations to make contact with the Black River CIB without delay.
