A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged by the St. Catherine police for his alleged involvement in lottery scamming.
The suspect, identified as Jadon Barnes of Treadway Farm Scheme in Linstead, St. Catherine, was arrested and charged on Friday, June 7, with ten counts of Possession of Identity Information.
According to reports, around 6:30 p.m., police conducted an operation in the community where Barnes was located. He was accosted, and his cellphone was searched, revealing a 39-page document containing telephone numbers, addresses, emails, social security numbers, and banking information of individuals residing overseas.
Barnes was arrested and subsequently charged. He is scheduled to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Friday, June 14.
