St. Catherine Businessman Murdered, Body Found Bound Near Premises

A businessman from St. Catherine was found dead on Thursday at a premises in the High House district.

The deceased has been identified as Douglas Henlon, who resided in the neighboring community of Bushy Park.

Henlon’s body was discovered near his business establishment by residents, who raised the alarm and summoned the police.

When officers arrived, they found Henlon with his hands and feet bound and a severe head injury. Blood was seen around his body, suggesting he may have been attacked.

The Old Harbour Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is leading the probe into the incident. Investigators have not yet established a motive for the killing and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
