Jamaica News, April 16, 2018 – St Andrew Teenager Murdered

 St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s New) – The police in St Andrew say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to apprehend the culprit or culprits responsible for the shooting death of a teenage boy in Red Hills area, on Saturday morning of April 14.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Michael Rodney of Red Hills Road.

Reports are that about 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, the teenager was alone at home when neighbors heard loud explosions coming from the directions of his house.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, they stumbled upon the teenager’s body which was lying at a section of the house with multiple gunshot wounds.

Rodney was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
