St Andrew Police Seeks Help to Identify Murdered Victim

Jamaica Crime News, St Andrew: Detectives attached to the St Andrew South Criminal Investigation Branch say they are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify a man who was discovered shot to death along a section of Wellworth Avenue in Kingston 11 on Tuesday, July 3.

Detectives say the victim is believed to be in his mid-twenties,  brown complexion, slim built and about 5ft 7ins tall.

The victim was clad in a Red T-shirt, black pants and a pair of black shoes.  He also has two tattoos on his chest,  one with the markings of a cross and the other with the name Sophia.

Reports are that about 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, residents in the area heard gunshots being fired in the area and summoned the police.

Upon arrival, the victim was discovered lying along the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.  He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
