Jamaica News, March 9, 2018 – Constant Spring Bar Operator Shot Dead

St Andrew, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – A popular bar operator was shot and killed by two gunmen while standing outside his place of business in Constant Spring,  St Andrew on Tuesday morning, March 6.

Another man who was also shot and injured by the gunmen is still at hospital in serious but stable condition.

The deceased has been identified as Kevin Walters also of the said address.

Reports by the Constant Spring police are that shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday,  Walters who operates a bar along Ward Close in Constant Spring, was standing with a group of men outside his establishment when two men approached him.  The men brandished handguns and opened fire hitting him to his upper body.

Another man who was standing at the location was also shot.  The gunmen made their escape in a waiting motor car.

The Constant Spring police were alerted and upon arrival, the wounded men were transported to hospital where Walters was pronounced dead and the other man admitted.
