“Sparks” Shot and Killed in Westmoreland

Latest Jamaica News, Westmoreland (McKoy’s News): Fifty-year-old Trevor Leon, otherwise called “Sparks” of Caanan Mountain in Westmoreland, was shot and killed by unknown assailants at his home in Caanan Mountain, on Monday, September 2.

Reports by the Little London police are that about 8:35 p.m., residents heard gunshots coming from the directions of Leon’s home, and summoned them.

The lawmen went to the scene and after carrying out an investigation, Leon was discovered lying in a pool of blood, in the back of his yard, with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The scene was processed and the body later transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
