The Portmore police are asking members of the public for assistance to identify human remains which was discovered in a swamp area of Portmore in St Catherine.
Reports are that about 10:30pm, residents in the community of Old Hellshire Road were Crab Hunting, when they stumbled upon the human remains in the swamp.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, it was discovered that the victim was clad in a blue jeans pants.
The police are asking persons who may have information to immediately contact the Portmore police at 876-949-8422.
