Jamaica News, April 13, 2018 – Six Men Arrested and Two Illegal Firearms Seized in Kingston            

Kingston, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Six men were arrested and two illegal firearms seized, during an operation carried out in the Harbor View area of Kingston 17, on Thursday evening, April 12.

Reports by the police are that shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, a team of officers attached to the Kingston Eastern Division, carried out an operation at a premises located at Balcon Avenue in Harbor View.

During the operation, the inside and the roof of the house was searched.  The search resulted in the seizure of a Luger 9 mm semi-automatic pistol loaded with eleven 9 mm rounds and a 12 gauge shotgun along with Forty One live 12 gauge cartridges.

Six men who were at the house were taken into custody and their cell phones ceased.

In the meanwhile, Superintendent in Charge of Kingston Eastern Division,  Victor Hamilton commends the officers for a job well done and said they will not leave any Stones unturned, as they expect to make a strong case against the six accused.
