The police have reported that on Tuesday, the search team managed to recover the body of 26-year-old Joseph Anderson,  a Jamaica Defence Force Private, who hailed from May Day district in Manchester.

On Tuesday afternoon, the team reported spotted the body of the other victim and 26-year-old Kevon Gayle, a student of Northern Caribbean University (NCU), and Avondale district, also in Manchester, but a school of sharks which was spotted in the vicinity forced them to call off the search.

Reports by the Pedro Plains police are that about 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 31, Anderson and Gayle, were swimming in a section of the sea, at Frenchman’s Beach, when they got into difficulties and were swept away.
