Shericka Jackson Clinches Third Consecutive 100m Title at JAAA Nationals

Kingston Jamaica:  Shericka Jackson Wins – On the second day of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) National Championships at the National Stadium, Shericka Jackson triumphed in the women’s 100m, clocking a season-best 10.84 seconds (-0.3m/s) to secure her third consecutive title.

In a thrilling race, Jackson surged from behind to claim victory, with 20-year-old Tia Clayton, 10 years her junior, finishing second in 10.90 seconds. Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, potentially in her final race on home soil, secured third place with a time of 10.94 seconds, earning her spot in another major global championship.

Shashalee Forbes finished fourth in 11.04 seconds, followed by Kemba Nelson and Alana Reid, both recording 11.14 seconds. Briana Williams placed seventh with 11.15 seconds, and Natasha Morrison rounded out the top eight in 11.21 seconds.
