Latest Jamaica News, Kingston: Security Officer Fatally Shot in Kingston 58-year-old George Dennis, a security officer of Building 1, in Olympic Court, Kingston 11, was fatally shot by another security guard along Walkers Crescent, after he allegedly beat a woman almost to death, and later attacked the security guard with a machete.

Reports by the Half-Way-Tree police are that about 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, Dennis went to visit the female who lives at another section of the community, and an argument developed between them.

During the argument, Dennis reportedly reached for a piece of board and a machete which he used to beat the woman, almost to death.

The female started to shout for help and she was rescued by angry community members who attacked the accused. He was then chased by the residents to a section of Walkers Crescent, at what time the other security officer attempted to apprehend him.

Dennis reportedly attacked him with the machete and he was shot and killed.
