Jamaica News: The leadership of the Savannah La Mar hospital in Westmoreland is being commended for its attempt to improve customer service at the state owned medical facility.
Among the features implemented is a patient passport system. At every point where the patient is seen this document is signed. This can help to answer questions of who gave a patient what and when, in the event of malpractice.
The hospital is said to have also instituted customer service representatives to help deal with patient’s complaints or suggestions.
