Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Providence Heights Gets First JP: The citizens living in the community of Providence Heights Housing Scheme, located at Ironshore Estate in Montego Bay, were overjoyed on Sunday, February 18, 2018, when the community was introduced to the first Justice of the Peace, Mrs Kelly Kellier-Anderson.
Mrs Anderson was formally introduced to the citizens who gathered together in the community to see her. She is a teacher at the Irwin High School in Montego Bay.
The meeting was Chaired by President of the Providence Heights Housing Scheme Citizens association, Glendon Ferguson. Also in attendance were members of the Coral Gardens Police Station headed by Sergeant Cecil Cabellaro who is the Sub-Officer at the Coral Gardens Police Station and Woman Constable Jacqueline Williams. Prior to the meeting, a marching band played some great instrumental music and the national anthem.
