Kirlew’s body was discovered along a section of the Forte Street area of Montego Bay over a week ago, after he went missing from his Seven Rivers address. Several phone calls were made to his cellphones which all went unanswered.
Okeive Kirlew, otherwise called “Busshead” is a popular figure in the city of Montego Bay, who mainly hangs out along a section of St James Street known as “Cash for gold corner”.
He was once a bus conductor on the Cambridge to downtown Montego Bay route. His mother said that since Kirlew fell from the roof of a building in Cambridge, he had been acting strangely.
The mother of eleven told Mckoy’s News that she cared for all her children, and Okeive was very close to her.
She said that when the police show her the photos of her son, she saw what looked like a stab wound to the side of his body, which was infested with maggots.
“I am calling on the police to thoroughly investigate my son’s death, as someone must know something,” said the sad mother.
