Westmoreland, Jamaica (McKoy’s News)- POLICE SEEKING MEN INVOLVED IN MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ROBBERY: The Westmoreland police have now launched a manhunt for two men who they say are behind the multi-million dollar robbery which took place in the parish on Sunday (September 17, 2017) morning.

It is reported that about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday two men armed with handguns went to the home of a 25-yr-old farmer in the Ricketts River area of Frome and held him at gunpoint.  Further reports are that the armed robbers tied up the farmer and robbed him of an undetermined sum of cash, jewelry, clothing and household articles. They then took his Grey 2007 Suzuki Vitara Jeep registered 4166 GG and his White Nissan Tiida motor car registered 8865 HD.

The victim was then taken and placed in the trunk of the car. The gunmen then headed to Sav La Mar from Frome. Along the journey, the victim managed to free himself and forced the trunk open. He then jumped out, escaped and made a report to the police.

The police are continuing their investigations into this incident.
