Police-Military Operation Leads to Arrests, Seizure of Guns and Ammo

Three men have been apprehended after authorities seized a cache of firearms and ammunition during an operation in Peace View, Albion, St James on Wednesday. Acting on intelligence, a joint police and military team conducted a thorough search of the area between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, resulting in the discovery of the illegal weapons.

The seized firearms included a Springfield 9mm pistol with a magazine, a Beretta 9mm pistol with a magazine, and a Remington 12-gauge shotgun. Additionally, authorities found two magazines, eight 12-gauge cartridges, thirty-three 7.62mm rounds, and twenty-eight 9mm rounds of ammunition.

Following the operation, three individuals were taken into custody for further questioning regarding their connection to the confiscated weapons. Law enforcement officials emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in maintaining public safety and combating illicit activities in St James.
