Latest Jamaica News, St Ann (McKoy’s News): Police Makes Breakthrough into Double Murder Detectives attached to the St Ann Bay police station say they have now arrested one man in connection with the shooting death of two men at Mammee Bay, in the parish of St Ann, on Sunday, December 8.

He has been identified as Mikey Dillon, otherwise called “Sonny” also of Mammee Bay in the parish, and he has been arrested in connection with the murder of 32-year-old O’Neil Wynter, otherwise called “Puma” and 24-year-old Jamiel Ellis, otherwise called “Munga”, both of Steer Town addresses in the parish.

Reports are that about 10:54 a.m., on Sunday, Wynter and Ellis were on the beach at Mammee Bay when a Toyota motor car drove to the area.

A group of men travelling in the vehicle, alighted and opened fire hitting both men multiple times to their upper bodies, before escaping in the waiting motor car.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Wynter and Ellis were found suffering from gunshot wounds, and were rushed to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The accused who was charged with two counts of murder and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, is scheduled to appear in the St Ann Parish Court on Thursday, March 5.
