Portmore, St. Catherine – The police have launched an investigation into the death of a man who was found bleeding in his bed at his home in Portmore, St. Catherine, early Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old labourer Andre Hyman of Smith Avenue in Newland.
According to police reports, Hyman was discovered around 2:30 a.m., lying on his back in his bed with blood coming from his mouth. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Bridgeport Criminal Investigation Branch is leading the probe into the circumstances surrounding his death. Authorities have not yet determined the cause, and investigations are ongoing.
Residents are urged to assist law enforcement with any relevant information that could aid in the case.
