The St James police have taken a 14-year-old Irwin High School student into custody, following the murder of 15-year-old Raneil Plummer.
The suspect was brought in by his parents and is currently undergoing questioning regarding the incident. Charges are anticipated to be filed soon.
Plummer, who was also a student at Irwin High, was fatally stabbed on Thursday after leaving the school premises. He suffered a single stab wound to the chest and was rushed to hospital, where he tragically died from his injuries.
