St. Elizabeth, Jamaica – A St. Elizabeth man has been charged after he was allegedly found in possession of lottery scamming paraphernalia.
The accused, 25-year-old Dadric Francis of Park district, Santa Cruz, has been charged with knowingly possessing identity information.
According to police reports, on January 21, officers executed a search warrant at a residence occupied by Francis and several others.
During the search of a room occupied by Francis, law enforcement officers reportedly discovered a book containing names, international addresses, telephone numbers, banking details, and social security numbers of individuals residing overseas.
Authorities stated that Francis was unable to provide any lawful justification for possessing the information. As a result, he was arrested and subsequently charged.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
