Trelawny, Jamaica News: Police Arrest Serial Burglar – The Trelawny police have arrested and charged a man they say is responsible for a series of break-ins in the Spicy Hill area of the parish.
The accused, 20-year-old Twayne Campbell, also known as ‘Suck-Suck’ of Spicy Hill, Duncan’s, Trelawny, faces charges of House Breaking and Larceny.
Reports indicate that on Monday, May 6, a 27-year-old woman was at work when she received a notification on her phone about a break-in at her home. Using her cellphone, she accessed her CCTV cameras and observed Campbell inside her house conducting a search.
She immediately alerted the police and rushed home. Upon her arrival, the suspect had already fled. It was discovered that he had entered through a bathroom window at the rear of the house and had stolen her passport, cash, and other valuables.
Since the incident, police have been searching for Campbell, who was apprehended on Monday, June 25, and subsequently charged on Tuesday.
