Kingston, Jamaica – Drivers can now tap, swipe, or insert their debit or credit cards to pay tolls on the Jamaica North–South Highway, thanks to new POS machines installed at all six plazas on August 2.
The lanes accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, and Discover, alongside cash.
A clearly marked card/cash lane is now in place at each toll plaza for faster, more convenient service.
“This is about making life easier for motorists,” said Trudy-Ann Williams of JNSHC.
The Toll Authority’s CEO, Jerome Palmer, praised the move, saying it shows what real follow-through looks like.
Fast lane just got faster. No more digging for change. Swipe and drive.
