The Negril police in Westmoreland have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man, who is alleged to have sexually molested his 11-year-old step-daughter on several occasions,
He has been identified as Lorenzo Wheatley, a baker who resides at Red Ground in Negril, Westmoreland.
Wheatley has been charged with Rape, Grevious Sexual Assault, and Sexual Touching.
It is reported that during 2022, Wheatley, who allegedly shared a relationship with the child’s mother, is said to have had sexual intercourse with her daughter on two occasions.
A report was made to the police and following an investigation, Wheatley was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
