Music Producer ’12 Boss’ Freed of Illegal Ammunition Charges

St Catherine, Jamaica: Music Producer ’12 Boss’ Freed – Dwight ’12 Boss’ Johnson, a well-known music producer from Lime Tree Grove in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, was acquitted of illegal ammunition charges in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Tuesday.

Johnson, now 34 years old, was taken into custody and charged in October 2022 after police allegedly found a 5.56 cartridge and a 9mm cartridge on a desk inside his house.

In his defense, Johnson claimed that there had been an exchange of gunfire between police and gunmen in his community and that he had found the ammunition along the roadway.

After a five-day trial, Parish Judge Kayon Lamey found Johnson not guilty, citing insufficient evidence.
