Jamaica Crime News, Westmoreland: 21-year-old Vernon Thompson, otherwise called “Mushi Gashi” of Ricketts Street in Savanna-la-mar, Westmoreland, was shot and killed by two armed men while at a business establishment in Petersfield, Westmoreland, on Monday night.
Reports by the Whithorne police are that about 8:45 p.m., Thompson was among a group of patrons at a bar in Petersfield when they were approached by two men.
Both men reportedly brandished handguns and opened fire hitting Thompson multiple times to his upper body, before making their escape on a motorcycle.
The police were summoned and upon their arrival, Thompson who was discovered lying in a pool of blood was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
