Multi-Platinum R&B Singer Keyshia to Groove with Michael Bolton, Beres Hammond & Third World

Queens, NY: Four-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Keyshia Cole is the latest addition to the impressive Groovin In The Park lineup that unfolds at Roy Wilkins Park on Sunday, June 30.

“We are excited to confirm the super talented Keyshia Cole as a performer for Groovin In The Park 2019,” said Christopher Roberts, founder and CEO of Groovin Inc.

To date, Keyshia has scored two #1 R&B/Hip-hop albums and seven #1 singles, two of them platinum. In addition, she has amassed six Top 40 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart in the span of five years. Her 2nd album, 2007’s Just Like You, debuted at #1 on Billboards R&B/Hip Hop chart (#2 nationally) and was propelled by three #1s, the platinum “Let It Go” featuring Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim, “I Remember” and “Heaven Sent,” while “Shoulda Let You Go” featuring Amina hit the Top 10. The groundbreaking album garnered Keyshia four Grammy nominations, including Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album, and an American Music Award nomination. Nicki Minaj and Keyshia kicked the door down with the up-tempo and edgy jam “I Ain’t Thru.”

Besides singing, Keyshia has made a name for herself on television having appeared in ‘All Of Us’ (2005); ‘Keyshia Cole: The Way it Is’ (2006-2008); ‘Keyshia & Daniel: Family First’ (2015) and ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ (2017).

The soon-to-be mommy of two is expected to deliver a solid performance when she romps on stage at Groovin in At the Park for what promises to be a sing-a-long musical treat.

“Keyshia is a NY fan favorite. We have been getting excellent response from fans since we announced her on radio here. Americans love her and the Jamaican/Caribbean diaspora loves her just the same. She will deliver something special for fans at Groovin this year” Clem Hume, Executive of Groovin Inc. said.

Cole will be joined by Michael Bolton, Beres Hammond, Third World, Sir David Rodigan and Sizzla as headline performers at the festival.
