Mother wants answers into the beating of Charlemont High child

Alena Campbell, the mother of the 16-year-old student Conique Hall, wishes to find answers in the beating of her child who attends Charlemont High.

It is alleged that the student was beaten into a coma by students as well as outsiders on the 7th of November 2019 and has been absent from school since the incident occurred. The mother demands answers from the school administration regarding who will be held responsible for her daughter’s incident.

Campbell, who is also a past student of Charlemont High, expresses her disappointment with how the situation is handled and the school in which she once bragged about was the best is now nonsense.

She is considering home-schooling her child but is also calling on the Minister of Education to intervene in matter as her child is due to sit her Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations come May 2020.
