Men Shot and Injured While At Woodwork Shop in Montego Bay

Latest Jamaica News, Montego Bay: Two men were shot and injured by a group of armed men, who ambushed them while they were at a woodwork shop, in Paradise Norwood, Montego Bay, on Wednesday evening, July 17.

The identities of the injured victims are being withheld, pending further investigation.

Reports by the Freeport police are that about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the men were at a woodwork shop at a section of the community known as Bottom Road, when they were ambushed by armed men.

The men opened fire hitting both men, before escaping in the area on foot.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded men were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where they were treated.

A total of three men have been shot and injured by gunmen in Paradise Norwood, within the past 24 hours.
