Manchester Man Charged with Assault at Common Law

One man was charged with assault at common law after he pointed an illegal firearm at another man, in Three Chains district, Mandeville, Manchester on Sunday.

He has been identified as 27-year-old Troy Brown, of Richmond district in the parish.

Reports are that Brown and another man got involved in an argument when he allegedly used an illegal firearm to assault him.

A complaint was made to the police and Brown was taken into custody and charged. He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday, September 25.
