Man Shot Dead After Arriving in Jamaica

Kingston, Jamaica: A 48-year-old Jamaican man was tragically gunned down on Tuesday evening shortly after arriving in the country.

The victim, identified as Rohan Campbell, had just returned from overseas and was traveling home from the Norman Manley International Airport in a chartered taxi. The shooting occurred at a traffic light intersection on Sir Florizel Glasspole Boulevard and Windward Road in St. Andrew.

Reports indicate that a gunman emerged from a Toyota Probox and opened fire on Campbell’s vehicle, targeting him directly. The assailants then fled the scene.

The police are currently investigating the motive behind the attack.
