The Coral Gardens police in St. James are investigating the shooting death of a man whose bullet-riddled body was discovered in the Claude Clarke Avenue area of the parish on Tuesday afternoon.
He has been identified as 22-year-old Colin Brown, formerly of Churchill Avenue in Flankers, St. James, but now residing at Claude Clarke Avenue in the same community.
Reports indicate that around 3:15 pm, residents in the Claude Clarke area alerted the police after hearing a barrage of gunshots in the community.
The lawmen responded, and upon their arrival, they discovered Brown lying face down in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his head.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
