Man Shot and Injured in Montego Bay

Jamaica Crime News, Montego Bay: Detectives attached to the Freeport CIB Department in Montego Bay, St. James, are now carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting and injuring of a Rastafarian man, at his home in Bogue Hill, St. James, on Sunday night.

The 31-year-old victim who is a laborer of the same address in Bogue Hill is presently at hospital in critical condition.

Reports are that about 10:30 p.m., the victim who is known as “Bobo” was seated outside the front door of his house when he was ambushed by armed men.

The gunmen opened fire, hitting the victim multiple times to his upper body, before making their escape in the area on foot.

Residents in the area summoned the police and upon their arrival, the wounded man was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
