The St Catherine North police are on the hunt for armed men responsible for the fatal shooting of a man near a gas station on Young Street, Spanish Town, St Catherine, on Thursday evening.
The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Antonio Patterson, also known as ‘Oney,’ a resident of Spanish Town.
According to reports, around 6:50 p.m., Patterson was standing near Barrett’s Service Station when he was ambushed by armed men and shot multiple times.
The police were called to the scene and found Patterson lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Spanish Town Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
