Latest Jamaica News, St Catherine (McKoy’s News): Detectives assigned to the St Catherine North Police Division are carrying out investigations surrounding the shooting death of a man inside a bar, at St Jago Grove, in the parish, on Thursday, August 15.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Keeno McLaughlin of Gravel Heights, Spanish Town in St Catherine.
Reports by the Spanish Town Police are that about 1:00 p.m., McLaughlin was sitting inside a bar when he was pounced upon by armed men, who shot him multiple times.
The men fled the scene on foot, while the police were summoned and upon their arrival, the wounded man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
