Man Held In Connection With Stabbing Death In St Thomas

Jamaica Crime News: One man is now dead and another treated at hospital and released in police custody following their involvements in a stabbing incident which occurred in Golden Grove in St Thomas on Monday morning of June 25th.

The deceased has been identified as Stephen Knight, 27 year old, unemployed of Duckensfield also in Golden Grove.  The name of the accused who hails from the said address is being withheld pending further investigations.

Reports by the Golden Grove police are that, about 12:15 am, on Monday  both men who were at a location in Duckensfield got involved in a dispute.  During the dispute a knife was brought into play and both men received stab wounds.

They were rushed to the May Pen hospital where Knight was pronounced dead and the other man treated and released into police custody.
